NXT TOP 10: October 10, 2019

The NXT Top 10 is back! How do all of your favorite NXT superstars and tag teams rank in this new era of NXT on USA?

Rankings are based on the last 10 weeks of NXT TV and Takeovers, with points being given for matches, wins, and titles. Points depreciate, so a win this week is worth more than a win a week ago.

NXT Champion Adam Cole is #1 for the third straight week this week. Cole’s head needs to be on a swivel these days, especially with Tommaso Ciampa back.

NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler is still at #2 and who can stop her? There was a lot of women’s action on NXT this week, with Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley scoring wins, but are they at The Queen of Spades’ level?

North American Champion Roderick Strong jumps up to #3 this week, thanks to a victory over Isaiah “Swerve” Scott. Strong’s jump pushes Pete Dunne, Velveteen Dream, and Matt Riddle each down a notch this week. None of those three were in action on USA Wednesday.

Cameron Grimes has been on a huge winning streak. He jumps back into the Top 10 at #7 this week after taking out Boa. Grimes could be a legit problem to anyone holding gold in the future.

Grimes’ return to the Top 10 pushes Johnny Gargano and Street Profits down a notch this week. Neither of those guys were in action on NXT. The Street Profits were drafted to the main roster on Friday Night Smackdown. I’m sure NXT Tag Team Champions the Undisputed Era are breathing a sigh of relief about that. They drop two spots to #8 this week.
