ROH TOP 10: October 14, 2019

The ROH Top 10 is back and we’re in a post-Glory By Honor world now. With the Final Battle World Title #1 Contender set, where does everyone stand in the rankings?

Each week, we’ll be ranking the top 10 wrestlers and teams in ROH, based on wins and losses and title matches on ROH TV and PPVs. Weekly scores depreciate, so, for example a win this week is worth more than a win a month ago.

Big surprise in the #1 spot this week! Silas Young had a heck of a week. On ROH TV, he and #7 Josh Woods scored a tag victory over Coast 2 Coast. At Glory By Honor, Young won a 15-man Honor Rumble for the right to face ROH Champion RUSH later in the show. Young came up short, but it was still a marquee week for ROH’s Last Real Man.

ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions Villain Enterprises had a huge week, too, though not as a team. Both Marty Scurll and PCO advanced in the #1 Contender Tournament Semi-Finals at Glory By Honor. The stablemates faced each other in the Glory By Honor main event, with PCO scoring what many consider an upset victory over The Villain. The French Canadian Frankenstein will face RUSH at December’s Final Battle PPV. Meanwhile, RUSH slips down to the #3 spot thanks to a fairly uneventful week.

World Tag Team Champions the Briscoes and World Television Champion Shane Taylor swap spots this week. Both were successful in title defenses against outside talent at Glory By Honor.

Lifeblood holds on to the #6 spot this week. Mark Haskins & Tracy Williams were able to score a victory over Brody King and Flip Gordon at Glory By Honor. Flip has not had the same success as his Villain Enterprises stablemates. He slips to #10 this week.

The Gatekeeper and new Women of Honor Champion Kelly Klein makes her Top 10 debut this week at #8 after winning the title for the third time at GBH. The woman she defeated, Angelina Love, debuts at #9. It’ll be interesting to see who steps up to Klein next. And if Maria Manic will still have her back.
